I’m a Licensed Psychologist with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. I’m passionate about helping adults see stress and struggle as a path to healing and growth. I use my natural warmth to collaborate with clients and empower them to feel valuable and resilient.
I specialize in working with trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and life stressors. I have advanced training in therapy techniques for trauma recovery, including both Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR.) In addition, I have over 16 years of experience working with multiple issues, including in particular young adults, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and general life transitions.
I work from an integrative therapeutic approach that incorporates collaboration, the therapeutic relationship, emotions, behavioral and cognitive skills, and sensitivity to the unique issues that each client brings to therapy. I work from a warm, open, and nonjudgmental space to meet you where you are at in your healing journey. I value understanding, growth, and compassion, and I tailor my services to what would work best for you.
